How to overcome sleep during meditation?

In overcoming sleep, there needs to be great care in the
intake of food.
In the beginning of Tapas we took milk but later that also
became too
heavy. Vegetable soup suited, along with green vegetables,
leafy
vegetables. Another basic food was Amla. I hope you understand
Amla
(gooseberry). This is the main ingredient used in Kayakalpa
and
Chyavanprash. Amla is very rich in vitamin 'C'. Ultimately
what makes the
difference is the Grace of the Divine Guru. When it descends,
Dhyana
increases. As the Mind's conscious load decreases on the brain,
the brain
gets sufficient rest, as its activation and use becomes less
and less.
